We understand that you have many questions when it comes to medical care, especially when looking for a new primary care facility. What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday – Thursday 8:00 AM – 4:15 PM, Friday 8:00AM – 4:00PM, and one Saturday a month (hours vary, call in advance on Saturdays).
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, we are accepting new patients. New patients should have their previous medical records available when making an appointment. Please check with your insurance company to verify that we are in-network with your particular plan. Call our office at 770-945-1990 or use our online form to request an appointment today!
Dr. Christopher Borrego is only accepting new patients for telehealth appointments at this time.
Are you in network with my insurance plan?
We participate in Medicare and most HMO, PPO, and traditional indemnity insurance plans. Please check with your insurance company to verify that we participate with your particular plan.
Do you have Advanced Practice Providers (aka: mid-level providers)?
Yes, we have several Board Certified Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA). A Nurse Practitioner is a Registered Nurse who has earned a Masters Degree in Nursing. NPs are clinically trained to see patients as an independent caregiver. Physician Assistants have a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant. PAs are trained to provide direct patient care by diagnosing and treating patients.

What is your appointment availability?
We offer same day sick visit appointments and have generous availability for complete physicals and Medicare annual wellness visits. We accept walk-ins everyday, and even have available appointments and walk-ins on one Saturday a month to accommodate our patients’ needs. Saturday appointments fill up quickly, so we recommend scheduling in advance. Saturday walk-ins: please call in advance to confirm we are open and available that Saturday.
What do I need to bring with me to my first visit?
If you are a new patient, or you have not been to the office in over 3 years, then please arrive at least 30 minutes before your appointment time and bring the following items with you:
- Your most recent insurance card
- A valid photo I.D.
- All medications you are currently taking (in their bottles)
- A list of any allergies
- Medical records and immunization records
- Your pharmacy’s name, location, and phone number
What do I need to bring with me to every visit?
If you are an established patient, please arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment time and bring the following items with you:
- Your most recent insurance card
- A valid photo I.D.
- All medications you are currently taking (in their bottles)
- List of any allergies
Who do I call if I have a question about my bill?
Should you have a question about a statement from Tri County Internal Medicine, please call the billing department at 770-945-1990, EXT 232 and leave a detailed voicemail.
Should you have a question about an invoice from Quest or LabCorp, please call the number provided on your Quest or LabCorp bill.
Should you have a question about a claim from Tri County, please call our Insurance Department at 770-945-1990, EXT 230.
What forms of payment are accepted?
We gladly accept cash, check, AmericanExpress, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa.
